Evangelists | Yokota Church of Christ

Brother Masa Nonogaki has served the Yokota Church of Christ since 1995. A native of Tokyo, Masa and his wife Mari have worked in Fussa, near the Yokota airbase in order to minister to both the Japanese and English speaking congregations. His Bible knowledge and bi-lingual ability is a blessing to all. They have 2 sons, Ken and Riki. Along with his duties in serving the Yokota congregation, Masa is heavily involved with the Japan School of Evangelism as a teacher, as well focusing most of his work on building up the Japanese ministry in the Yokota area.

Brother Stephen (Steve) Carrell has been connected with the Yokota Church of Christ as a missionary since 1979, when he and his wife, Debbie, first came to Japan. As the son of missionary parents, Bill and Norma Carrell, Steve also often came to Yokota as a young boy as well. Currently, even though he works with the Matsudo Church of Christ in Chiba prefecture, he and his wife continue to teach classes and have fellowship with the Yokota members. He is also a teacher at Japan School of Evangelism.
